    Health & Safety Compliance Review

    From £395

A practical starting point for businesses that need to understand where they stand and what should be addressed first. The exact scope and price are confirmed before work begins.

    What the review usually involves

    • Initial call to understand the business and its activities
    • Review of existing health and safety arrangements and key documents
    • Workplace or site review where required and included in the agreed scope
    • Clear written findings and a prioritised action plan
    • Practical recommendations without unnecessary paperwork
    • Options for document support, ongoing advice or the Safety Hub afterwards

Consultancy support helps you understand and manage your health and safety duties. It does not transfer or remove the employer’s own legal responsibilities and it does not guarantee legal compliance.

    Other consultancy support

Available alongside a compliance review or on their own.

    • Risk assessments and RAMS

Suitable and sufficient assessments and method statements written around how your business actually works.

    • Experience from safety-critical work

Findings ranked so you can see what matters most instead of working through an undifferentiated list.

    • On-site across Oxfordshire and the Cotswolds

On-site support across the county and the surrounding Cotswolds, with remote support where that suits better.

    Frequently asked questions

What does a health and safety compliance review include?
A review normally starts with a call about your business and its activities, then a look at your existing arrangements and key documents, and a workplace or site review where that is required and included in the agreed scope. You receive written findings and a prioritised action plan. The exact scope is confirmed with you before any work begins.
How much does a compliance review cost?
Compliance reviews start from £395. The final price depends on the size of the business, the number of sites and the activities involved. The scope and the price are both confirmed in writing before work starts.
Do you work with small businesses?
Yes. Featherstone Safety works mainly with small and growing organisations that do not have a full-time health and safety professional, including contractors and trades, workshops, offices, estates and logistics businesses.
Can you act as our competent health and safety adviser?
Featherstone Safety provides competent health and safety advice and support. Acting as a client’s appointed competent person under regulation 7 of the Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations 1999 sits outside the standard scope of services and is not automatic. If you need a formal appointment, raise it directly so it can be discussed and agreed separately in writing.
Which areas of Oxfordshire do you cover?
Featherstone Safety supports businesses across Oxfordshire and the surrounding Cotswolds, including Oxford, Witney, Didcot, Abingdon, Bicester, Wantage, Faringdon, Chipping Norton and Cirencester. Remote support is available more widely.
Do we have to subscribe to the Safety Hub?
No. Consultancy support and Featherstone Safety Hub are separate. The Hub is available if you want software to keep records organised, but it is not required in order to use the consultancy services and it is not automatically included.
Can you help with risk assessments, RAMS and COSHH?
Yes. Risk assessments, RAMS, COSHH assessments, workplace inspections and audits, policies and core documentation are all available, either as part of an agreed scope of work or separately.
